From the Telegraph & via New English Review:-
"My first impression on reaching the (IslamExpo) exhibition centre was of a strong police presence. I was then struck by how quiet and subdued it all seemed......my impression was that the exhibition was not particularly well attended. I may be wrong in this, of course – I am going on what I saw from the outside and through the window. Visitors were almost exclusively Muslim, so it failed as a bridge-building exercise. The atmosphere was quiet and subdued....
Overall, a damp squib, or damp squid...."
Good (and well done for going along MJ)
and this is great news....will savour it even better knowing this (thanks to Drinking from Home)
"When I left England I bought a one-way ticket out. I never want to see the place again.”
Bakri said last night: “What concerns me is my safety. I’d be happy with a month’s visa but this morning they told me I couldn’t because I’m not a British citizen any more.”
Omar Bakri to British Muslim audiences:
"Kill and be killed... Prepare as much as you can from strength and from force to terrorise - because terrorism it is part of Islam... Martyrdom is what you want. Do the effort. Clear your intention. Go forward, never look backwards. Make sure you have nothing left behind you to think about or cry for and fight in the name of Allah."
Caught trying to board a ship full of women and children evacuees.
All makes a nice change from this day last year when 4 sad demented little jihadis were racing around the capital trying to blow up the transport system. That unprecedented context is often forgotten when people rush to accuse CO19 officers of everything from state sanctioned terrorism to murder in relation to the de menezes case. Within 3 days the much maligned security services had rounded up all of them.
I'm relieved the CPS found nothing to support a prosecution. I always held these men responsible.
The family meanwhile quickly aligned themselves with terror supporting Galloways Respect party to undertake their campaign.
Does it show?:-

No it would have been exactly the same.
If it had been the other way round, i.e. in Brazil, I wonder?
Just makes you mad doesn't it? I mean that back stabbing shit Bakri, wanting to freeload on to a British ship to safety, after all the evil that has spewled out of his mouth?
And of course your're absolutely right - the reason Menzes is dead - besides getting virtually zilch intelligence from the "muslim community" - is those fucking jihadists seeking to slaughter ordinary people.
Yeah - when you consider how many innocent men die at the hands of the Brazilian police. They dont give a shit when they bulldoze their way into the favelas and randomly execute suspects, often children. And yet in amongst all the national hand wringing and year long investigation, compensation hand outs (over which the family themselves LIED), government apologies and rightful concerns that this never happens again not one mention of the jerks who caused it - just cries for a witch hunt or a scalp and then the classic nos ive quoted above.
Yeah and Bakri can piss off aswell!
Rest assured if the victim had been BLACK and English there would have been a hell of a lot more official wailing and gnashing of teeth...
So Alison, because the Brazilian police are a bunch of murdering thugs, it's OK for the Met to be too?
Mr FM calls it right on his blog:
"much interference has been run on making sure badly trained and screened coppers evaded manslaughter charges for actions that would have been in Northern Ireland from 1969 onwards (or, as now in Iraq)
If you are a Metropolitan policeman & you pump 9 rounds of 9mm into some Brazilians head, you get a slap on the wrist …. not from the courts, but from the omnipotent Health & Safety Executive. However, if you a squadie in Iraq & you have the temerity to unload on a terrorist …. before you know it the bracelets will be well and truly & Attorney General will be throwing the book at you"
Im not comparing the Brazilian police to the British police.
There was plenty of wailing and gnashing of teeth or did you not think a year of full MSM dedication was enough?
The CPS and the legal system did not find enough evidence to make these guys out to be 'murdering thugs' though im sure given half a chance they would have. They do as you point out throw the book a squaddies with regular gusto.
What happened was horribly tragic but i accept it was a mistake and find fault with those who created the circumstance.
But since you mention it i think it sucks that the Brazilian government sent over a posse to monitor our progress when they are inept at handling even the basics in Brazil. A simple arrest over there is often an excuse to murder a suspect and dispose of the body to avoid having to load up their overcrowded jails. The dead mans/woman/childs family arent acknowledged let alone given the kind handwringing self loathing we have dished out, compensation and a possible judicial review all paid for by the tax payer.
