"There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word, which means more to me than any other. That word is ENGLAND." - Sir Winston Churchill

Of course the flag will take on a whole new meaning again in June. Here's Becks the infidel (a quarter jewish to boot) in front of the infidel flag.

Whoa, that quote definitely reminds me of my darling Krip. Before anything else, he is an Englishman. Love that about him.

Oh, Alison? Just thought I'd let you know that you've been tagged!

Actually i totally pinched the quote from Pub Philosopher! Should have stated that. However in the process i did find some Churchill quotes id never read before. How absolutely MAGNIFICENT was that man...and i bet Krip is rather pleased with the football result eh Alice?. I know i was leaping about yesterday.

If Beckman goes to the US and doesnt come to London I will be VERY pissed off. But i think it sounds like a credible rumour for someone his age. Plus he already has the football schools established in the US.

Tagged. OK ill give it a go later.

You can actually vote for the flag at http://www.icons.org.uk/nom/nominations/st-george-flag?sortcriterion=popularity&order=reverse
on the rather dire English icons site

I quite liked a lot of them. Which ones do you think are dire? Apart from the jiggery dancing men i mean.
