Yeah he makes some points although frankly - i dont give a crap if Sven was shagging around - what he does in his spare time is up to him. That doesnt affect our squad and the media didnt affect Sven. One of his plus points was he didnt get riled that much by the msm which is incredible in a country run by the bastards.
He also makes the fatal mistake of rubbishing Beckham. Eugh. Yawn. Little boys get jealous of Beckham. He got us into the last World Cup, works hard within the team, sets up chances and generally bails us out when we arent up to speed. Always proves people wrong when he screws up and is generally passionate about the game which is what we need. Daft point.
The German drumming was an exception in the lists against Sven. Id agree for the reasons stated. It was on the back off a feel good factor.
He couldnt manage Rooney, didnt play him in the best formation. Rarely pushed an attacking side and his decision against Brazil was unforgiveable.
He plays defensive football and simply never made the best of a talented up for it squad.
As Ian Wright said on Saturday "I crap myself about Svens decisions at half time".
We should have got Scolari. Though I hear Shearer will be part of the training team. Good.
Yes I go along with the Shearer addition to the training team...at least he's an 'attacking' footballer. As for Sven he can only work with the material he's got...Rooney is a thug - so saying I think that Ronaldo should be greeted with a rousing call of derision when he plays for MU next time. I seriously believe there should be a minimum of 7 English players playing for clubs in this country. It is wrong that Arsenal and others have 100% foreign players in their team.
Sven did some good stuff - remember the state things were in when he arrived. His record is still better than any England manager for 15 years or so.
Things started to go wrong when the FA sacked Crozier. Then Sven had no backing at board level and that lack of support began to rub off on him. sure, he made some bad decisions but if you want to find out what's wrong with an organisation, you should always start at the very top.

Svens Top Ten Mistakes
I'm sure you could add to that list!

We need thugs - theyre all at it - metatarsals abound. But hes only 19 and full of it so he needs taking in hand.
Rooney is headed for Real Madrid - so if Becks feels like it he can break his bloody legs. If not and he ends up back at Man U id laugh.
Totally agree about the Premiership!
not rooney - ronaldo!!
Hmmm. I still blame the FA.

The FA? Bunch of useless old farts.
