LOL

Stars Join in Hunger Strike

Hollywood stars Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon are to join a fast protesting against the Iraq war.

From Drink Soaked Trotskys for WAR

"Now it is time to bring the pain and suffering of war home. We are putting our bodies on the line for peace."

Aaah.

Whatever.

They will give up food for 24 hours as part of a rolling fast.

Is that a record for Hollywood then? I doubt it.

Sean Penn visited Iraq in 2002 and 2003, meeting politicians, visiting a water treatment plant and touring a children's hospital.

in the comments:-

"Did Sean ever say 'Yeah, nice palace Your Excellency. Love the gold and marble furnishings. Why are all your kids starving'?"

Feeling the same way Tom. And i think the Expo and other voicepieces for Islam of late have only made things worse. Have you read this http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/rajnaara_akhtar/2006/07/reflections_a_year_on.html" in the Guardian! LOL. I hope they run more like this frankly its doing us all a favour exposing idiots. (sorry not sure how to do a hyperlink)

Can I just add my full support for Tom's point here. And express my joy that he has once again discarded his inner cheek-turning Christian in favour of his outer loather of Islamic scum.

I read the article you linked to, Alison - typical Guardian rubbish of course, but even so, appalling that they choose this time to air such views. At least, most of the comments on there disagreed with her.

DSD, thanks, although there is less of a contradiction there than many people think. Being a Christian does not mean you have to be a guitar-strumming hippy! I don't actually want to murder anyone, I just would like to see Britain become an Islam-free zone.
