Interesting video. I think she looked perfectly OK to start with, but obviously there's nothing wrong with styling your hair and putting on a bit of make-up, as I'm sure most women would agree. But all that photoshopping...up to a point, it's merely doing the same job as the make-up (colour enhancements, etc) but once they started redesigning her shoulders, enlarging her eyes & lips, etc, I thought that sort of crossed the line.
Well it was the photoshopping perfection that was the issue and a point well made by them in support of the charity they are supporting with this ad ...for womens self esteem.
Weren't Dove the ones who did that unintentionally hilarious poster ad campaign stating that 'every woman should have a daily facial'? Man, that was a tough one to explain to my ten-year old the first time I saw it and nearly wept with laughter...
My wife arranged a make-over and photo shoot for me and her some time back and I was amazed at what a bit of make-up could do (yes, yes I did let them apply foundation and some other gunk but it's normal procedure for professional photographs. OKAY??)
At one point I started looking human. Amazing. But I realised that if I'd sent some of those pictures to a dating site I could find myself in trouble with the trades description act...

And there was me thinking beauty was in the eyes of the beholder...
I wish someone could do that for me!
Wow she totally started off ugly than she became merely unattractive.
Incredible.
