Hollywood wants to be the first to examine history. 'Flight 93' releases this Spring:
Rastaman picks up on the latest HW offering hot on the heals of Syriana: 'V for Vendetta' – shot and based in London - features terrorists blowing up the Houses of Parliament. It was filmed just before July 7 and put on hold from its original Nov 5 (Guy Fawkes Day) release date last year. Not sure ill be rushing out to see it either.

Alison,
It's interesting to see that Paul Greengrass who wrote and directed "Bloody Sunday" is the writer/director of "Flight 93." I don't know anyone in the cast, but Saeed Al Ghamdi is being played by Lewis Alsamari who is a member of British Actors Equity and lists his nationality as UK, Iraqi.
"V" is not the kind of movie I would go out to see, even though I'm a big Stephen Rea fan. My son liked the "Matrix" so maybe he'll see it and tell me how it was.
Ummm... Link on the RIGHT, please. I would like a link over on the right.
Hey, you said you would and I need the Google rating. Happy happy
blogger is a pain today i lost a whole post and a bunch of updates will keep trying
After losing posts, then triple posts and finally cookie problems barring me from getting back in - ive finally got it sorted! Sorry for the delay.
Im not keen on V as its taking itself too seriously and hitting all the wrong notes for my liking - but im curious about Flight 93 b/c of its director and the family support it had in its making. It was shot at Pinewood. Ive been too busy lately to pay it enough attention.
Ill add you back in to the blogroll too Rasta, im still missing quite a few.
